Lata, Rafi Songs in Vivek Starrer Play

Evergreen songs of Lata Lata Mangeshkar and Mohmmad Rafi from the 1950s will be used in the Bollywood-inspired play, Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon, Haryana. The play features Vivek Oberoi, Isha Sharvani, and Gauhar Khan.

The first half of the play will have 11 evergreen melodies, while the second half of the play will have 8 to 9 songs. The songs are yet not finalized. The yet-to-be titled play will be staged in May at the newly constructed entertainment and leisure of Gurgaon.

Meanwhile, Vivek has already left for Delhi for a month-long rehearsal with Isha and Gauhar who play the princess and the gypsy, respectively fighting for his attentions.

Javed Akhtar says unlike other plays, this will be a unique play that will be staged with horses and elephants running on and off stage.
