Six months prior to shooting, we frequently met up for lunches and dinners.

Deepika after playing a 70’s actress in OSO played a modern day Indian woman, in Siddharth Anand’s romantic comedy ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ with Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba which did well on box office, but for her performance Taran Adarsh wrote,

Deepika is a sore point. Her role isn’t convincing and that’s the reason why this performance doesn’t work. The only consolation is, she looks gorgeous.

This really is Deepika Padukone’s film though. She exercises considerable restraint, dances, skates, makes you cry and smile.
