The Japanese Wife a Janapnese, Bangali & English movie by Aparna Sen which was scheduled to be released in 2008 is going to be released now on April 9th 2010.
Starcast of the movie Rahul Bose, Raima Sen, Moushmi Chatterjee & Japanese actress Chigusa Takaku has given a brelient performance in the movie, the story is written by Kunaol Basu and music is given by Sagar Desai.
The movie is about a teacher Snehmoy [Rahul Bose] and his Japanese Wife Miyage [Chigusa Takaku] who has lived their whole life away from eachother but shared their love by letters and still remain commited and loyal to eachother, Sandhya[Raima Sen] has played a role of a young widow sharing the house with Rahul Bose but not his heart, he loves his wife who is in Japan, but Sandhya moves them a bit when she comes to live with her 8 year old boy at Snehmoys house.
The movie was done in one year, the plot started in 2007 and was complere in 2008, it was earlier named The Kite, but then was changed to the story line and name became The Japanese Wife, being a bangali & Japanese couples story, (more…)
After ages Nana Patekar is coming back with Dimple Kapadia his new upcoming movie, ‘Tum Milo To Sahi’. ‘Tum Milo To Sahi’ is a story about common people at different stages of the life. The movie revolves around ‘art and fortunate accident’ that happens with three couples at three different stages of life, late teenager age, mid thirties and elderly age.
