Ek Main Aur Ek Tu Movie Preview

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is a romantic comedy film written and directed by debutant Shakun Batra, produced by Karan Johar under his banner of Dharma Productions, Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be seen first time on big screen together,

Cast of the film is Imran Khan as Rahul Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor as Riana Braganza, Randhir Kapoor, Boman Irani, Ram Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rajat Barmecha,

The film was originally referred to as ‘Short Term Shaadi’ but is not titled as Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu,

Karan Johar always wanted Imran Khan to be the lead actor of the film to work with absolutely fresh pair with him, Kareena was the perfect lead lady to make a new onscreen pair,

Also Kapoor’s father, Randhir Kapoor was also approached to play her dad in the film. the film is shot in Los Vagas, Los Angeles and later in Pataudi, the Indian state of Haryana, rights of music of the film are with T-Series,

Imran Khan playing Rahul Kapoor who is is 26 years old and is on his way to become a carbon copy of his parents, but when he suddenly loses his job as an architect in Las Vegas, Worried that he might have let his parents down, Rahul hides the truth and finds another job.

This is the time when he meets Kareena Kapoor playing Raina Braganza a quick witted hairstylist, who is everything he isn’t.

Both meet eachother in a series of events till Christmas Eve over a few drinks, and when they wakeup next morning they discover that they got married while both were drunk,

This keeps Rahul in a big fix as he does not have a job, which he hasn’t told to his parents and now he is married,

Both decides to get their marriage annulled as soon as possible and get an appointment from the court in 10 days, in these 10 days both shares arguments, laughs and moments, and as all other films, the film ends with Friendship, love and happy ever after,

Ek Main Aur EkkTu releases on Valentine’s day weekend 10 February 2012.
