Chase: The First Preview

It seems that Director, Jagmohan Mundhra is planning to bring bunch of thriller movies on the floor on the same time. Last time, we discussed about his movie, Apartment starring Tanushree Dutta, Anupam Kher, Rohit Roy and Neetu Chandra, this time, Jagmohan came up with Chase starring Anuuj Saxena, Udita Goswami, Tarina Patel, Samir Kochhar, Rajesh Khattar, and Gulshan Grover.

Chase is about an alleged terrorist, Sohail (played by Anuj Saxena) who ends up in coma coma after a prolonged chase, with cops Samir Kochhar and Rajesh Khattar gunning for his life. He is put under the special supervision of nurse Nupur (played by Udita Goswami) who is convinced her patient is pretending by dancing and showing her body. Even she pushses him into the river that Sohail wakes up finally. The rest of the film is all about a political murder and how he manages to prove his innocence to everyone.

If Jagmohan Mundhra’s direction is pure bad, the script of the film is plain ridiculous. Though Anuj Saxena has done a noticeable hardwork but he needs a good script to justify his talent. Kochhar and Rajesh Khattar provide adequate support. Gulshan Grover despite getting limited scope leaves his mark. Shammi Kapoor’s son Aditya Raj Kapoor doesn’t share the acting talent his rest family members have.

Chase is one of those movies which can be easily forgettable.
