Yash Raj’s Film Inspired from Hollywood Flick!

Bollywood usually inspired by Hollywood movies, and once again Yash Raj films, has made his new flick, Luv Ka The End, which resembles with the 2006  English rom-com, John Tucker Must Die.

Shraddha Kapoor, who is playing lead character in the film, is playing the desi version of actor Brittany Show’s character Kate. First-time actor, Taaha Shah plays the Indian John Tucker who cheats on three girls in the desi version as against four in the original.

Pointing to the striking similarities between the films, a source says,

“In the Hollywood film, Kate tells John to wear a thong and come to her room. But he goofs up and lands in the headmistress’s chamber instead. In the desi version, Shraddha catches Taaha cheating on her with two other girls. In one of the lessons she teaches him, she gets him to wear a ghagra- choli and party with her.”

Ashish Patil, head of Y Films, says,

“Luv Ka The End and John Tucker are as similar as apples and oranges. Our film is the story of one girl who is wronged and brings the guy down in one night in the most outrageously funny way possible. Luv Nanda (Taaha) gets into a lot of trouble in the film. Tucker is about three ex-girlfriends who set up a former lover to fall in love with the new girl in town to watch him get his heart broken over a few months. Tucker turns over a new leaf and changes. So there’s no question of getting remake rights.”
