Armaan Ali a driver working for a senior executive in mumbai goes on a leave to find a groom for his daughter whom he had left wit his brother Rehman ali and his wife Salma, when he returns back to his daughter after months,
When he is on a leave, his employer wants to kick him out because he returns after one more month extra leave, and to save his job, Armaan ali tells a story which is funny that it will make you rollover on your seats, the story is not just about a father and daughter, it also has the political games played to not make a Well in the village where they stay and how Boman Irani fights against people who are against making a well in village, all we have to watch in the movie is , weather the story he says is right or just a fake to save his job, the film has great actors like Boman Irani, Minissha Lamba, Sammir Dattani, Ila Arun, and other actors which are supporting them in completing the film are Rajit Kapur, Ravi Kishen, Sonali Kulkarni, Yashpal Sharma & Ravi Jhankal.
The film makers has lauched a site for Well Done Abba too, the site has contents like games,character sketches and made uniquely which loooks like hand written text.
The actors alos has differnt look, everyones costume and makeup is given like a hydrabadi.
Its a Shyam Benegal Film picturised in haydrabad with shantanu moitres music and the base of the story is taken from Narsaiya Ki Bawdi by Jeelani Bano, Phulwa Ka Pul by Sanjeev & Still Waters by Jayant Kripalani, the movie is almost done, and will be soon in theaters to tickle you.
