Suparna’s Thumri in ‘Kajraare’ reminds of Begum Akhtar

Suparna Acharya who is the melody queen of Kolkatta is back again with her best Thumri based ghazal in ‘Kajraare’, ‘Ab katla hoke teri mehfil mein aye’.

Kajraare a Pooja Bhat’s Fillum which is said as a complete package of good music by actor, singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya.

The background score is done by Bapi -Tutul who has discovered the talent in Suparna,Tutul feels that such singers have vanished from the industry. Suparna has a perfect voice to do justice to Thumri based numbers and surely reminds of Begum Akhtar.

Suparna has also given her voice to ‘Rakta Chatira’ a Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming fillum.
