Spanish Actress Urges Zoya to Drop Bull Fight Shot

Zoya Akhtar, who is quite busy in filming of her forthcoming flick, “Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara”, has been to remove a shot of bull fighting from the film. Spanish-American actress Charo has requested the director to remove the shot.

A few scenes of the film has been shot in Pamplona, Spain, during the famous bull event, part of the annual nine-day festival of Sanfermines that involves crowds running in front of a herd of the beasts let loose throughout the town’s streets. Charo has sent a letter to the filmmaker requesting,

“Deriving any pleasure from abusing bulls is something we should all be ashamed of and certainly nothing that should be promoted in a feature film.”

“Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” features Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar and it is scheduled for a April 2011 release.
