Son Of Sardaar trailer set for rollout

The trailer of the Ahay Devgn film Son of Sardar is out. The duration is two minutes and 30 seconds later, and as the credits roll, you know that the film is a package of Punjabi humour and Punjabi babes — in essence a complete family film. Add dollops of comic scenes and larger-than-life situations, and you’ve got a ready entertainer.

Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein yeh khayal aata hai, ki agar duniya mein sardar nahin hote toh kya hota,” muses Ajay Devgn in the opening scene of Son Of Sardaar’s first trailer.

Given all the elements of fun and comic revelry, it’s understandable why the movie has been chosen for a Diwali release — the perfect time for a family entertainer to hit the marquee. And now the much-awaited film has tagged its trailer with the release of the much-awaited Christopher Nolan epic The Dark Knight Rises in India from today.

Post Singham and Bol Bachchan’s success, this Devgn offering also features Sonakshi Sinha, who is gathering her fair share of fans after the release of Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore.

Son Of Sardaar, presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, and produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms and YRV Infra and Media (P) Ltd Production, releases this Diwali.
