Shreya Ghoshal Wins another Award

The most promising Playback Singer Shreya Ghoshal recently was awarded with Kerala State Film Award for the best female playback singer for her foot-tapping number ‘Chandhu Thottille’ in Banaras.

Shreya is the best singer in this era, she is singing songs in almost every other fillum not just bollywood but other languages too, She received award for a Song Chandhu Thottille in Banaras.
When she received the news she expressed her excitement,

“I never thought I would get an award for a Malayalam song. The language is not all that easy; I must thank Jayachadran Sir for giving me such a lovely song and helping me do justice to it,”

She has also sung for ‘Vida Parayukayano’ for Amitabh Bachchan starrer Mammootty and ‘Vennilave’ in Sagar Alias Jacky and recently ‘Anuraaga Vilochananayi’ in Neelathamara.

Shreya has also won Four National awards and three State awards for the best female playback singer. she has received 26 awards in just Eight years of her career, she has sung songs for around 140 films till now including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Kannada, Hindi and her mother tongue Bangali.
