The IPL 3 has not yet started but the controversies ensuing the same have already begun! In fact, Shahrukh’s stance on Pakistani Cricketers has turned the Shiv Sena against him, as they went berserk tearing down his posters and also vehemently opposing Shahrukh’s next movie – My Name Is Khan’s release in Mumbai.
In fact, things turned so ugly that they marched upto Shahrukh’s house and shouted slogans. They also tore down his posters. They wanted Shahrukh Khan a written apology for supporting the Pakistani players. Police immediately landed in rescue of the actor and arrested 20 protesters while others managed to flee.
Shiv Sena leader and MLC Anil Parab was heard syaing that “Shah Rukh should go to Pakistan if he wants to speak in favour of Pakistani players,” In fact, in support of the protest and vandalism, senior party leader Manohar Joshi said, “This is the issue of patriotism and Shahrukh should not interfere in politics. Shahrukh Khan has been staying in Mumbai for years but has never spoken anything for Marathi.” well. we sure do hope things get sorted out between all of them soon enough.
