Shahrukh and Imran as brothers?

Excitement has set in when news about Shahrukh Khan and Imran Khan coming together as brothers spread around.

Of late talks are going on that the two Khans will be doing the remake of ‘Vettai’, a Tamil hit that was produced by UTV. The recently released Tamil venture – which stars R. Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul – garnered rave reviews and its success story inspired the production house to go for its Hindi version. The film’s story features Madhavan and Arya as brothers – former a peace-lover while the latter is a ruffian.

Now going by the blockbuster status of the Tamil film, UTV wants to remake it for Bollywood with two top stars. Since SRK and Imran have never attempted South remakes, the production house said to feel that these two will be apt for the script and also their casting will kick off some excitement.

However, Madhavan seems to be keen on doing his role from the original in Hindi as well.

As of now, talks are still going on about the cast, but UTV has confirmed that they are on their way to remake ‘Vettai’ in Hindi for sure.

Well, till then we are cross-fingers on this one, since it will be wonderful to see the Badshah Khan being bhai to the younger Khan.
