Shah Rukh Khan will inaugurate IFFI

Shah Rukh Khan will be the celebrity face to inaugurate the 42nd International Film Festival of India, which will be held from 23 November to 23 December, and southern superstar Suriya, very well known for his movies
Rakht Charitra’, ‘Perazhagan’ and ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ will bring the curtains down.

Festival director Shankar Mohan said,

Shah Rukh will flag off the 42nd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. He would formally inaugurate the 10-day extravaganza on Nov 23 at Ravindra Bhavan auditorium in Margao,

More than 100 movies from 65 countries will be screened during the festival, its a festival that aims to be a one stop shop for cultural exchanges between Indian filmmakers as well as artists and cinema experts from several countries,

Eminent French filmmaker Luc Besson, Hollywood actress Michelle Yeoh, Laurance Kardish, Dan Wolman, Raima Sen, Dino Morea and Prem Chopra are in the guest list for the festival.
