Sanjay Reschedules Knockout Release

This is called true friendship. I am talking about Sanjay Dutt & Ajay Devgan’s friendship, when one friend, Sanjay delays the release of his forthcoming film so that his film doesn’t clashes with his friend film. Yes that’s true! Sanjay Dutt has re-scheduled the release date of his upcoming movie ‘Knockout’ when he found that his best buddy, Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Aakrosh’ is gearing up for Oct. 1 release.

Apparently, Sanjay’s Knockout and Ajay’s Aakrosh are set to release on the same date but now Sanjay has shifted the release date of Knockout on October 8 or October 15. A source says,

“Kumar Mangat’s ‘Aakrosh’ and Sohail Maklai’s Knockout were both slated to be released on October 1, 2010. However, since both Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn are very close friends, the release date of Knockout has now been shifted to either October 8 or 15.”

Sohail confirmed the news by saying,

“Yes it is true. We all mutually decided to shift Knockout by a week or two. I called Sanju in South Africa and he took Ajay on the conference and we decided that there is no point in clashing the two films.”

“My director Mani Shankar is in Mumbai finalizing the edit. We have enough time to change the date and plan our promotions accordingly”

Even the promotional campaign strategy will have to be reworked for Sanju babu’s film, as the decision to delay the film’s release was sudden.
