Sameera speaks about how her career took shape

Sameera Reddy when interviewed after her recent release ‘Red Alert’, expressed herself recollecting how she started her career and how it shaped up and she has reached passing the long way till here,

Its been around 8 years Sameera has entered in Bollywood, Sameera started her career with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya since then she worked in multiple languages, including Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalamhas, she has had a slow and steady career growth, and now she feel that she has grown and is doing what she knows.

Sameera said,

In earlier days, I merely used to think about consequences of doing a film. What I missed out was enjoying the entire experience of being in front of the camera. This is when I started thinking about what I really wanted to do,

I started enjoying the experience of working in a film rather than its consequences. I also wanted to grow as an actor and start perceiving things in a different way. This is why I don’t think that it was the maturity that mattered here; it was more about the perception because in my earlier years it was all very child like.

By Child like I mean that I used to think of Bollywood as a big bubble where I would find a pretty comfortable place for myself and people would love me for that.

What I didn’t realise was that it was only ending up making me self absorbed. I guess when something like that happens to you, it is the biggest mistake that you can make. You can’t think straight after that and look everything around you only from a tiny hole while thinking ki yahi hai meri zindagi hai aur mujhe aise jeena hai. You don’t understand that you have to be ‘hatke’ and have your own personality. You listen to anybody and everybody and make a mess of your career. I consciously worked upon that and today I can say that I am indeed quite content.
