Salman Plays Middle-Class Widower in Ready

After playing so many cool dude characters, now it seems that Salman Khan has realized his age that’s why he going to play a character of middle aged, middle-class widower, and a father of two kids in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next flick.

In order to get into the character, Salman has also decided to add some extra kilos in Ready, Mahesh Manjrekar’s Hindi adaptation of hit Marathi film Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho. Manjrekar will play the actor’s father in the film, which is currently being shot in Sri Lanka. When Mahesh shared his thought of making the film on that subject, Salman was immediately as he also shared the same connection with his father. As per source,

“Like the boy in Manjrekar’s film, Salman shared a volatile relationship with his father Salim Khan. He has also spoken of the way he was beaten as a child, and his hatred of formal education.”

Mahesh says,

“Yes, Salman saw the Marathi film and loved it. He has never attempted something this middle-class before. This film will open a whole new fan following for Salman. He has played the cool dude to perfection. Now, it’s time to play a not-so-cool dad.”

It may be because of that also now he wants to give mature look as an actor as the actor is also playing a debauched cop in his home production, Dabangg.
