Sajid Khan Uses Anti-piracy Software to Stop Piracy

The Indian Film industry is fight with software piracy from so long time. In this regard, many directors and producers are coming with solution to track down film pirates. After 3Idiots, Sajid Khan will be using software to track down illegal downloads of his film Housefull.

Software called Republique, developed by a company called Geodefic, will be activated last night and later it will be activated tonight and work all over the world. Sajid Khan says

“Since the film releases in some parts on a Wednesday we want to start tracking pirates immediately.”

The software will not only track the IP address of the person who is trying to download the movie, but also corrupt all the movie files and make them void. Khan warns that he won’t be lenient with the offenders and hand them over to the anti piracy bureau.

“Anyone downloading movies illegally is a criminal. Housefull is coming to a theatre near you, but if you try and download it, you will land up in a jail near you!”
