Piggy Chops turns down Rohan Sippy

Priyanka Chopra had won great recognition and accolades, for the role she portrayed in Rohan Sippy’s production Bluffmaster, aand so it came as no big surprise when Rohan showed inclination to cast her as his next leading lady in the movie which is still on the creative stage. However, Priyanka unfortunately had to turn down his offer.

The apparent reason for declining the offer is that the dates were clashing with Vishal Bharadwaj’s next ‘Ek Bataa Saat’, in which she plays a woman with seven husbands.After Kaminey, according to a source, There was no way Priyanka could let go of Vishal’s ‘Ek Bataa Saath’. So she regretfully opted out of Rohan’s film.’ The role comes in the wake of her recent dud “Whats your Raashee? ” in which she portrayed twelve different roles, each signifying every zodiac sign.

In Rohan’s movie, about drug-busting in Goa, a newcomer was supposed to be cast opposite Abhishek Bachhan, whereas  he wanted to cast Priyanka in a powerful role opposite the southern star Rana Daggubati, who is entering Bollywood.

Well, whatever happens , happens for the best, na?
