Nisha Kothari to do RGV’s new film

Ram Gopal Varma’s former muse, Nisha Kothari, who featured in his forgettable films “Agyaat: The Unknown” and the epic disaster “Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag”, is apparently back in RGV’s fold.

The actor, who has delivered more flops than hits, will now be seen in the long-in-the cans thriller” Stalker” alongside newbie Raj Shroff.

Prod her about the delay and she says,

I wouldn’t say the film was delayed because we finished shooting in six months.

says Nisha, who plays a middle-class girl in the upcoming film.

Whenever RGV calls me for a film, it is always exciting. “Stalker” is a different idea altogether and I liked the character, who is simple, doesn’t wear expensive clothes and takes care of her parents.

says Nisha.

Is she thrilled about getting back with RGV after a three-year gap?

The truth is that RGV launched me in the industry. My association with him will continue as long as he gives me films to do, so there’s no question of getting back with him.

And is she ready to move out of his shadow and test the waters with other directors as well.

I was never in his shadow, even though I would love to stay in his shadow and never come out of it. I am willing to work with all other directors, provided I get some good scripts. As long as the Chopras are not signing me, I can work with other banners.

she laughs.

So what does she think of Ramu’s new muse these days -model-turned-actor Nathalia Kaur? “What will I know about her?” she retorts.

Well, I am very happy for her.

she signs off.
