Next Big Budgeted Movie, Rajshri’s Production ‘Tansen’

Rajshri Production is now ready to revive their most coveted film, Tansen, which was on hold for a long time due to economic slump. This huge budgeted film is based on legendry singer, Tansen, one of the navratnas in Mughal emperor Akbar’s court.

Satish Kaushik is hoping to make a grand movie as Rajshri has given green signal to produce the movie. Tansen will be a big budget extravaganza and Barjatyas are planning to pitch it as one of the costliest Hindi films to be ever made.

Satish Kaushik, says, “

Recession had started showing its ugly face and had started making its presence felt in Bollywood towards the latter half of 2008. A number of films were hit by slowdown and as months progressed, situation in Bollywood only worsened. By the time mid 2009 arrived, there were dozens of disasters that piled up in Bollywood which meant that there was no further progress on Tansen.”
