Neha Dhupia Turned Singer for her Next

It seems that everybody in Bollywood is trying out to be different; directors are turning to composers, whereas actors are turning to producers or singers. In that list, one more celebrity name has been added that is Neha Dhupia who joined the club of actors who turning to be a singer. Yes that’s true, the actress has sung a song for her untitled flick for singer and composer, Kailash Kher.

Director Subhash Kapoor took all pain to convince Neha Dhupia to sing the song. When contacted, Subhash Kapoor, the director of the film, also confirmed and said,

“Neha plays a female gangster called Munni Madam from Meerut (how original). It’s a very strong character and in the song, there is a bit about her character. I was keen that she herself sings the song, so that it would add more authenticity to the film.

However she flatly refused saying that she is not a singer. I had to convince her and she finally agreed to a couple of music sittings.
After three music sittings, she was confident enough and we went ahead and recorded the song along with Kailash Kher.”
