Kulraj Wants to Work With Shahrukh Khan

Actress Kulraj Randhawa, who is debuting in Bollywood with Deol’s home production ‘Yamla, Pagla, Deewana’, revealed her desire to work with Bollywood King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan. Like Shahrukh, who also started his career from TV shows like ‘Fauzi’ and ‘Circus’, she also plans to work in the film industry for long time.

The Punjabi beauty said,

“Yamla, Pagla, Deewana’ is a perfect launchpad for me. I don’t idolise much but Shah Rukh Khan is really hard working and made it big despite being from a non-filmy background. I feel I can make it big like him.”

Randhawa, who became a household name when she starred in Zee TV’s Kareena Kareena in 2003, believes that the movie, starring Deol family– Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby, is perfect for her entry in Bollywood. The actress said,

“I wanted to get everything right. I think it has been worth a wait. Yamla Pagla Deewana is a perfect launchpad, a complete Bollywood masala. It is a film for all tastes.”

Excited Randhawa, who shared screen space with Deols in her first film with, says,

“It has been an amazing experience. It was a trance for me to work with all the three Deols. Dharamji is a father figure to me and they all treated me like their own family member.”

“We got along very well. We broke the ice quite early before shooting during our workshop sessions and our chemistry on screen is quite nice.”

Randhawa had approached the director of the movie Samir Karnik for another project but as he was looking for someone to play the female lead in YPD, he felt that she perfectly fitted the bill. She says,

“When I showed him my pictures, he chose me to play the role of Sahiba. For me it is a dream comes true.”
