Kerala Police registers case against Shah Rukh Khan

Kerala Police registered a case against Shah Rukh Khan for violating provisions of Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1986,

Shah Rukh had performed ‘Chammak Challo’ when he visited Kerala for the inaugration of a showroom, had performed the song with some artist who was in skimpy clothes,

According to the Police, the case is registered against Shah Rukh Khan and partners of a textile showroom here, who organised the function, under sect 3, 6 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) act 1986 and under IPC sections 294 (obscene acts and songs), and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).

Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate A Ijas had directed police to register cases against the actor and partners of the private textile showroom after a petition by one Mathew Saju Pulluvuzhi.
