Katrina rocked us all by her power packed performance in Kabir Khan’s New York, and following on the same footsteps was our very own Bebo, who has left no stones unturned in her latest flick, Kurbaan with boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, in fact both the roles are way too similar in their content as well, and are set in New York. Also, Kartrina and Kareena both look at these roles as pivotal in their career-graph and are really close to the films respectively. What is more is director Rensil D’Silva too agrees to the uncanny resemblances between both the characters!
Talking more elaborately on the same issue, Rensil said , that every work on terror and terrorism has its own mood and purpose. “There can be any number of films on two people falling in love. It’s about how the individual director interprets the emotion of love.Likewise with the theme of terrorism. Well said, rensil. When Kabir Khan was questioned on the issue he said, said, “What can I say about the similarities between the two films? Kurbaan looks like a well-made film. If they’re similar then I’m sure that the audience that appreciated my New York will also take to this film.”But the real fight will be between Kareena and Katrina, both portraying similar roles and vying for the same popular awards at the end of the year.” True Kabir, well said!
