Karan Johar & Anurag Kashyap Union on hold

Though, both filmmakers have different style of making films but still Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap have joined hands to co-produce Vikramaditya Motwane’s film, Maqbalo. Surprisingly, director Vikram has asked both of them to give more time as he doesn’t want to make the film at the moment.

Apparently, Anurag and Karan are called industry enemies, but when they joined together for Vikram’s movie, everybody was surprised. A source says,

“Karan and Anurag are called industry enemies. Both have mocked each other many times in the past. Hence, their coming together shocked many in Bollywood. However, they joined hands, because they saw a lot of potential in Vikram’s script. The film has an ensemble cast and the script had already been narrated to Anil Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. However, Vikram started feeling that he was not very happy with the script and asked the producers for more time.”

Despite being backed by biggies like KJo and Kashyap, Vikram has decided not to make Maqbalo right now. Known as a perfectionist in the industry, Vikram is quite clearly waiting for a suitable time to make his film, as he is still unsure of the current script.

When contacted, Anurag Kashyap confirmed the news and said,

“He wants more time to work on the script.”
