Kangna: Not Burned Out from Hectic Schedules

Kangana Ranaut, who is mostly known for her intense and serious roles, is now days trying out variety of roles starting from Manu Weds Tanu, Double Dhamaal, or Priyadarshan’s Tezz Bullet Train and then David Dhawan’s Rascals. The actress admits that she has working in hectic schedules but she is still not burned out saying that’s,

“I was relaxing because one of the films I was supposed to start shooting for last month got postponed. Things like this happen — schedules get postponed or some other issues come up — and you get a break.”

Describing about her versatile roles, the actress says,

“In Manu Weds Tanu, I play a rebellious girl from Kanpur; in No Problem, I play a shack owner; in Game, I play a cop; and in Knock Out, I play a journalist. So, there’s no possibility of there being any similarities between my roles.”

Kangana is particularly excited about Knock Out as she has never played a journalist before. She says,

“I play a crime reporter in the film, which happens in real-time. Everything happens in two hours.”

When asked about how she felt when she shared her screen space with Irrfan and Sanjay Dutt, she said,

“I didn’t get to spend any screen time with Sanju, and I don’t think Irrfan and I are in the same frame.  Very different looking film with a very different storyline”.
