Joker no longer a 3D movie

A bad news for Akshay Kumar fans as they will have to wait a little longer to see their favourite action star in 3D as his next release Joker, a sci-fi fantasy adventure directed by Sirish Kunder is no longer a 3D film.

The makers of the movie Joker wanted the movie to be the first 3D movie with a big star in it but since SRK’s Ra.One and Don 2 have been already released in 3D, that idea doesn’t hold much weightage now.

The makers are also not much impressed by the recent reports of audience response to 3D films in Bollywood and decided to complete the film in simple 2D format.

Joker also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade and Minissha Lamba in pivotal roles and will release worldwide on September 14, 2012.
