Ishqiya gets the go

ish

The promos of Ishqiya have been rilung the roost for quite sometime now. However it was in the Censor Board’s line of fire now for using the word “sex” in the promos. But thankfully the censor board can heave a sigh of relief as the ban from the censor board has been lifted now.
In the movie, there was a scene in which Arshad Warsi supposedly used the 3 letter word in question. However, thankfully Bharadwaj and his team were successful in convincing the Censor Board members that the word was very much demanded and needed by the script.
The movie is set in Uttar Pradesh, “Ishqiya” is a tale of romance between individuals caught in a web of crime, suspense, passion and deceit. Directed by debutant Abhishek Chaubey, the film also stars Naseeruddin Shah and Vidya balan in pivotal roles.
Mansi Maroo, co-producer for the movie also revealed that such procedures create hindrance in the film’s promotion, and they have also lost two-weeks of right promotion due to the same.
But in the end, all is well that ends well, right?
