Is Sridevi’s daughter Pairing With Ram Charan Teja?

Few days back, Fillum.com reported that Sri Devi is launching her daughter in opposite to Nagarjuna’s Akhil, son of actor Nagarjuna, but papa, Boney Kapoor denied the rumors.

One again, Jhanavi, is in news as the little daughter has approached for Ram Charan Teja starer Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari (JVAS) sequel. Apparently, in the earlier version, Chiranjeevi and Sridevi had played the lead roles.

Now their children are pairing up to create the magic. Now the sources say that 13-year-old Jhanavi is likely to play the female lead in JVAS. According to the source,

“Producer Ashwini Dutt is planning a sequel to his 1991 Chiranjeevi-Sridevi film, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, which was later dubbed in Hindi as Aadmi Aur Apsara. The idea is to recreate the Chiranjeevi-Sridevi magic and that’s why Jhanavi comes into the picture opposite Ramcharan Teja.”

The script is currently being worked on and the film will go into production only in the second half of next year. Our source informs that the director is yet to be finalised, though K Raghavendra Rao, who helmed the Telugu original, may be brought on board for the sequel. Earlier, this year, there were reports that Jhanavi would make her debut opposite Akhil, son of Nagarjuna.

But apparently, Ramcharan is being preferred now, after his film, Magadhjeera became a huge hit last year, following a successful debut with Chiruta in 2007.When contacted, Boney Kapoor said, “It’s still too early for Jhanavi to think about acting. She’s just 13. And why would I want to launch her in a Telugu film?”

However, Ashwini Dutt says,

“It’s a good idea to see Ramcharan and Jhanavi in the sequel to Jagadeka Veerudu Athilola Sundari, more so because the movie was a huge hit,

But Boney Kapoor has denied the reports.
