Imran Khan has many facets; he has huge crush on Juhi Chawla, a pet lover, and he also loves to collect watches. After Sanjay Dutt, and Salman Khan, Imrain has joined their crew in maintaining the collection. The actor has limited edition of watches on his collection.
Recently, the actor has acquired MTM Black Hawk Special Ops watch, the same piece that Kiefer Sutherland wore as Jack Bauer in the American TV series 24. The actor has been showcasing the watch in promotional events of his next flick, I Hate Luv Storys (ILHS). Imran say about his collection,
“I am a huge fan of the show and have watched every episode. For a while, I had set my sights on Jack Bauer’s wristwatch,” says the actor. “Now that it is curtains for the show and they have already shot for the finale episode, it was time for me to own a similar piece. Its memory would continue to live on my wrist!”
As the watches are not available off the shelves, Aamir Khan’s nephew had to source it on the internet.
“They are specially made for government agencies and military in the US. As they have only have a few pieces for sale, I had to shop online. Moreover as they could only deliver in the US, I had it dispatched to a friend’s place there and wait for them to arrive in Mumbai which they did recently.”
Talking about Salman and Sanjay’s collection, he says,
“I have quite a collection but this piece is special. But I am not in the same pay bracket as them so I have to do at my level,”
