Imraan Khan plans to revive grandfather’s banner!

Imran Khan, bollywood actor is reportedly planning to revive his grandfather Nasir Hussain’s film banner. The actor recently confirmed the news at legendary actress Asha Parekh’s 70th birthday bash on October 2 at a suburban hotel in Mumbai where were present for the celebrations.

The youngest Khan of the generation, Imran, who was present with his wife Avantika confirmed the news. He received accolades and was lauded for the decision by many legends like Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya, Manoj Kumar, Aruna Irani and Asha Bhosle amongst others who were present for the birthday bash.

Everyone present at the party appreciated this thought and patted Imran’s back for making an attempt at keeping his heritage alive. They felt it was a noble act.

Nasir Hussain has given Indian cinema iconic films such as Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai, Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon, Teesri Manzil, Yaadon Ki Baraat, Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai. Though Nasir’s son Mansoor Ali Khan had given a shot at continuing his father’s banner by producing hits such as Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander but over a decade back Mansoor left the industry and went into hibernation after the Shah Rukh Khan-Aishwarya Rai film Josh (2000).
