I want to work with Bollywood big stars: Prithviraj

Southern superstar Prithviraj, who is making his Bollywood debut with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Aiyyaa’, is keen to work with the big stars of Hindi film industry.

I want to work with all the Bollywood biggies. In that sense I am selfish as an actor.

he says. The actor is a popular name down South and has successful films like ‘Stop Violence’, ‘Thirakkatha’, ‘Mozhi’ and ‘Chocolate’ to his credit. However, it seems his Hindi film career is already on roll, even before the release of ‘Aiyyaa’. He is currently busy shooting for Yash Raj Films’ ‘Aurangzeb’, which also stars Arjun Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor.

I just got back from Delhi after shooting a few scenes for the film (‘Aurangzeb’). We shot a couple of scenes in Mumbai and the rest will be in Delhi. It’s a big privilege for me to be part of Yash Raj Films. Personally it is a great feeling, because in my entire career, ‘Aurangzeb’ is a film, which I auditioned for. I got ‘Aurangzeb’ not because of who I am or what I have done, but because of that audition.

he said.

Talking about his third Hindi film, Prithviraj says,

I am in talks for the third film, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Once I give the go ahead, we will make the official announcement.

he said. ‘Aiyyaa’ is directed by Sachin Kundalkar and stars Rani Mukerji and Prithviraj in the lead. It releases Oct 12.
