At a press conference recently Irrfan said that he speaks only when it is required,

“I definitely do publicity for a film where I feel it is necessary, where I am excited about it, where I feel they need me… I go and do it. But I would like to be in a situation, where I don’t have to do publicity for a film and people understand there is something special about it themselves. The audiences are not fools, they can smell films,”

“I don’t have a lengthy role in this film. I did it because it was a experience for me. In Hollywood, they call it as a pivotal role because it moves the story in some way, but I don’t think it’s a very big role. For me, my presence is enough and I enjoyed it,”

said the 45-year-old. Directed by Marc Webb, the film also features Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Martin Sheen.
