Has Ajay Devgn Opted Out of Rajkumar’s Power?

After opting out from Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan, Ajay Devgan is now no-longer part of Raj Kumar Santoshi’s new venture, Power. If we believe on rumors, it is said that Ajay has decided to become part of solo films instead of doing multi-starrers.

Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Power also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor. A source says,

“Ajay feels that after having given four hits like All The Best, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and now Golmaal 3 he’s in a position to do better films not multi-starrers.

He doesn’t want to be lost in the crowd, like he was in Raajneeti. Currently, Ajay is in London shooting for Tezz and will inform Santoshi about his decision when he returns tomorrow.”

After a debacle of Aakrosh, Ajay want to do film, which would be surrounded on him. Whereas Devgn’s business manager Kumar Mangat Pathak denies these rumors and says,

“Ajay is doing Power. There’s no such issue as such. There’s a clashing of dates between Ajay’s different films because the Tezz schedule got postponed by a month.

Aarakshan needed block dates of 45 dates for February next year but then Ajay starts shooting for my film. After that there is Power also and a couple of other films. We are sorting out the dates.”

His next film with Rohit Shetty, Singham is an action-thriller, while Bol Bachchan (again directed by Shetty) stars Ajay and Abhishek Bachchan and is a comic entertainer.
