Wife, Kiran, demanded, and husband, Aamir Khan ready to do it. This is called true love. Yes that’s true, Aamir Khan who is producing his wife’s directorial debut, Dhobi Ghat, is trying his best to accessorize the movie, as now the actor has approached Bimal Roy’s family to lend him the rights to use the super hit song, “Dil Tadap Tadap Ke Kaha Raha Hai Aa Bhi Jaa” from 1958 film, Madhumati in his flick.
Aamir Khan has taken the rights, and now the song will have new look in the flick. Interesting part is that, the song was picturised on Dilip Kumar in Madhumati, now Aamir Khan will be portraying himself as Dilip Kumar as the song will be filmed on him. A senior member of their family said,
“Aamir and our family go back a long way. Aamir’s uncle Nasir Hussain and Bimal Roy were close friends.”
Confirming the news, Bimal Roy’s son Joy, said,
“It is true that we have given the Madhumati song to Aamir for the film which his wife is directing.” Bimal Roy’s family wouldn’t mind if the song is even remixed in Dhobi Ghat. A source said, “It’s okay by the family even if Aamir remixes the song. It would be so nice if such a song of the golden era is made available to the young generation.”
