Its only month ago, when we (Fillum) reported that Dia Mirza is turning to be producer with his best buddy Zayed Khan, and now she has also roped her boy-friend, Sahil Sangha, whom she has been dating for nearly a year now, as now he will direct their inaugural venture. Sahil has already assisted Nikhil Advani in Salaam-E-Ishq.
Dia, who is all set to become producer, would love to make biopics. The actress has been inspired many many real-life characters. She announced,
“You can expect an announcement next week. I should have locked my script by then,”
“I’m inspired by the true-life stories of painter Amrita Shergill, Bharat Natyam dancer Rukmani Devi and poet and freedom fighter Sarojini Naidu. I’d like to recreate their lives some day.”
As of now, her film, Johnny Mastana, has been ready for a year. Dia hopes that it will release soon and do well on the box-office. The actress said,
“The delay is because of a tussle between UTV and Twentieth Century Fox over the rights. It is my best performance yet,”
Well, though, may be Dia is not so successful actress in Bollywood, but hoping that she will make good remarks being a producer.
