Bheja Fry 2 Release Postponed Till April Last!

Filmmaker, Sagar Bellary’s Bheja Fry 2 release has been postponed due to the shooting of some of the footage that was bypassed because of budget constraints. Instead of heading into theatres in the first week of April, now it will release at the least week.

This delay is a result of incomplete footage as some of the shots that needed to be captured in Singapore were cancelled due to budget constraints. Bellary confirms the incident, tells

“We are indeed short of some crucial shots on a luxury cruiser in Singapore. The film had to be postponed because of this and since our producer cannot afford any more expenses I am footing the bill.”

“A major portion of Bheja Fry 2 is shot on a cruiser called Superstar Virgo, which connects Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

We also shot a lot of the film on the Bintan Island. We had to rush through our shooting and did away with some of the scenes because of budget constraints.

We thought we”d be able to manage without them but now we realize we need long shots of the cruiser and the island, not only for the narrative but also for promotional purposes.”
