Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’ Set to Release on 17 November (Wednesday)

After Saawariya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is geared up with his next flick ‘Guzaarish’, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles. Last time, Sanjay released Saawariya on Diwali, but this time, he is releasing his flick Guzaarish, two weeks after Diwali.

The reason being, Indian audiences prefer watching light, peppy entertainers during the festive season, while ‘Guzaarish’ – although it has light moments aplenty – deals with Euthanasia. Hence, UTV and Bhansali jointly decided to release the film after Diwali.

UTV and Sanjay are planning to release film on November 17. Now, now you must be looking at the calendar and surprised that November 17 is not Friday, usually Hindi film releases on every Friday, but its Wednesday. Here also, Sanjay and UTV are breaking the rules to release film on Friday. Reason behind that the West is enjoying a big holiday on Wednesday and so the makers want to simultaneously release the film in India as well as overseas.

But if Bhansali and UTV have a change of mind, ‘Guzaarish’ may well arrive on a Friday.
