Anita Raj makes a comeback

After Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Sridevi, Hema Malini and Madhuri Dixit its time that Anita Raj who is returning with Samir Karnik’s ‘Char Din Ki Chandni’,

Anita Raj said,

Yes, I will be seen again this January after a long gap. My movie ‘Char Din Ki Chandni’ is releasing. Where had I disappeared? Nowhere! I was right here. Role bhi to honi chahiye (There should be roles for me),

Anita Raj debuted in 1980s with series of successful films with Sanjay Dutt and Dharmendra in films Naukar Biwi Ka, Jeene Nahin Doonga, Iljaam, Karishma Kudrat Ka and Ghulami,

She also worked for Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Achcha Bura as her debut film, she did Basu Chatterjee’s ‘Laakhon Ki Baat’ and K. Balachander’s ‘Zara Si Zindagi’.

After she got married to producer Arjun Hingorani’s son Sunil, she stopped working in films, she never wished to work in somany years after her marriage and son, but now when she has got the right script she has chosen it to make her comeback,

She said,

I did make a return to movies in 2007 in a film called ‘Thodi Life Thoda Magic’. That wasn’t seen by too many people. So I preferred to wait for the right opportunity.
