Amrita Prakash back in action

Amrita Prakash, the vivah fame actress is hitting the screens agin with  NA JAANE KABSE… which is almost complete and ready to release soon. The film has been shot extensively in outdoor locales of Chandigarh and exotic Ladakh. In fact, the Chandigarh schedule featured the legendary ‘sarson ka khet’ (mustard fields) sequence made popular by the iconic Yash Chopra films. So, what was Amrita’s experience of the romantic mustard fields of Punjab?

Says Amrita, “Actually I have grown up watching the romantic songs and scenes picturised in ‘sarson ka khet’ in many evergreen romantic films like DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE and VEER-ZAARA, and was very excited to be part of one such scene. But unfortunately it did not turn out to be the dream sequence I had in mind. When we had to run through the mustard fields, it was horrible. Something bites, something pokes! I think the ‘sarson ka khet’ is romantic only in films!”
