Akshay in Murugados’s next Flick

It seems that this period is golden period for Akshay Kumar, as the actor has been teaming up with new directors; after teaming up Farah Khan for ‘Tees Maar Kha’, now Akshay is raedy to team up with A R Murugadoss for his next flick.

After two years, Ghajini’s director A R Murugadoss is all set to direct his flick starring Akshay Kumar. Vipul Shah, close friend of Akshay will produce the flick and ready to spend around Rs 20-25 Crore on the action sequences alone. Unlike Ghajini, Murugadoss’ second film is not a remake of one of his Tamil-Telugu hits.

Akshay has already given his instructions to the director, and said,

“I’ve a reputation for delivering stunts. Make sure the action rocks.”

Director, A R Murugadoss also confirmed the news and said,

“Yes, my screenplay for the film with Akshay is an original. Like Ghajini it is basically a love story with a strong action base.”

Talking about the female character, Murugadoss, said,

“We haven’t really decided on Akshay’s co-star. But yes, Asin is a strong contender.”

Akshay is also looking for fresh co-stars to work with, so he has given his nod to Asin.  The film’s shooting starts in January 2011.
