Akshay Confesses his Favorite Scripts were Flops in Box-office

The Khiladi actor, Akhsay Kumar confessed that though he chooses his scripts carefully, but still some of is favorite scripts have not been successful in the box-office. The actor claims that his only motto is to entertain the audience.

The actor, whose recently released Khatta-Meetha did not receive proper response among audience, posted on his Twitter account in response to a fan’s query,

“I do read my scripts. In fact, I always have several script-reading sessions before I fully take on a movie. But remember, I cannot predict the future. Some of my favourite scripts have been my biggest flops, but they have sometimes been my greatest successes also.”

In-fact, the actor also confessed why he has not received the best actor awards even after featuring in many films. Akshay posted,

“I do so many, many more movies than any other actor in Bollywood. Therefore my gamble is much higher. I would rather entertain my audience than ever win an award. It’s the people I want to please, not those attending award ceremonies.”
