Akshay Asks 27 Crore for Once Upon…Sequel

It seems that Akshay Kumar is either too much confident about his success or too much overconfident! But why am I saying this! Well, the story is that Akshay Kumar has asked 27 Crore to become Dawood Ibrahim in Ekta Kapoor’s sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.

Ekta Kapoor, Head of Balaji Prodductions approached Akshay to step into Emraan Hashmi’s character in the sequel of Once Upon…but rumors are there that Khiladi actor has asked whopping amount of Rs. 27 Crore to play the character. A source says,

“Ekta wants to take the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai to the next level. She felt that Akshay would be ideal for playing Dawood Ibrahim’s role.

She likes the way Akshay acts and feels that he has a lot of potential for playing challenging roles.”

Apparently, the actor also asked to sell the film to a corporate, so that they could incur ready profits, but Balaji never involves a corporate giant in their project, so might be it did not work out in either ways.

In this way, Akshay might lose a good from his kitty.  Isn’t that too much AKshay?
