Ajay Vs. Irfan On Lalit Modi Biopic

Who will become Lalit Modi on-screen? Ajay Devgan Or Irfan Khan? Any guess! Let’s wait for right time! Percept Ltd. has approached Ajay Devgan to play Lalit Modi character on screen in a biopic, being directed by Shamim Desai. Irfan Khan is another choice for multi-dimensional role.

Percept  Ltd has  approached both  Devgn and Khan. While Devgn has earlier  played biographical characters  in  Mahesh Bhatt’s Zakhm, Ram Gopal Varma’s Company and Raj Santoshi’s The Legend Of Bhagat Singh.

But, this time, Irfan has seems more perfect for the role, as Ajay Devgan has reservations about the controversial nature of the character, and Irfan may adjust his dates accordingly the project.

Shailendra Singh,

“We haven’t zeroed in on the cast. But I am not denying the names you’ve mentioned. We are looking at an actor who can ACT, who looks like Modi and is familiar with the biopic format.” On all three counts, both Devgn and Irrfan  fit the bill.
