Ajay & Kangana in Priyadarshan’s Next

It seems that directors in Bollywood have liked so much Ajay Devgan and Kangana Ranaut together in Once Upon…, that they started casting together in their flick. Now Priyadarshan will be soon casting Ajay and Kangana in his next flick based on Glassgow Novel opposite to each other.

Buzz is also that Priyadarshan is so much inspired by Jan de Bont’s 1994 thriller, Speed that he decided to re-make the flick in which Ajay will play the main role. Another Buzz is that, Ajay will be seen in a negative character, playing a terrorist. Manoj Bajpai will play a positive character as the engineer trying to control the train’s speed.

On choosing a train in London for shooting his film, Priyadarshan says,

“But the difference in my film is that we’ve shifted the terror attack from a bus to a train.”

“We’ve got permission to shoot at one of the London stations and inside a train. It took some effort but we did it. I don’t think it would’ve made sense to shoot the film without actual locations and the train.”

Apparently Devgn recommended Kangna to Priyan. Says the director,

“I’ve just signed Kangna opposite Ajay. I’ve never worked with her or Ajay before. Tusshar Kapoor and Sameera Reddy have also been cast as terrorists. My other favourite Suniel Shetty is also there in a special role.”

The untitled thriller goes on floors on September 1.
