Aishwarya & Ranbir Received Teacher’s Achievement Award

Tow heartthrobs, Aishwarya Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor won the Teacher’s Achiever Award for this year. Mrs. Bachchan received People Achiever Award whereas young heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor was awarded with 10th Teacher’s Achievement Award for entertainment.

If Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dedicated her award to her father, Krishnaraj Rai on his birthday, and stated,

“Mine was people’s choice award and that’s always special for me. It really reflects what I always said, that my greatest strength and inspiring force has been the audience, my fans world over, that’s what makes it particularly special.”

“Today is my father’s birthday, so I dedicate this award to my dad.”

Whereas 28-year-old actor, Ranbir Kapoor, who debuted in Bollywood three years back  received the award from veteran actor Anupam Kher and lyricist Prasoon Joshi. Receiving an award, the actor said,

“I come from the family where both teachers play an important part. Teachers in form of guardian and teachers in form of whiskey. Thanks Teacher’s, I’m grateful to you.”

Teacher’s Achiever of the Decade Award went to Boman, while veteran actress Shabana Azmi received the Teacher’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Instituted in 2001, the awards are organised by Liquor Company Beam Global Spirits and Wine, owner of the Teacher’s brand.
