Abhishek’s Dum Maro Dum Releases on Feb 4, 2011

Rohan Sippy, son of Ramesh Sippy, has already decided what to gift Abhishek on his coming birthday; i.e., on February 5 2011. It would be something really special for Abhishek as Rohan and foz Studio have decided to release Abhishek Bachchan starrer, Dum Maaro Dum on February 4 just one day before on his birthday.

In DMD, Abhishek is playing a Zanjeer-like cop (frank and fearless), which is an action thriller that brings together director Rohan Sippy and Junior Bachchan after their success collaboration in Bluffmaster. Rohan Sippy says,

The film is shaping up very well and the audiences should get ready to enjoy it.

While Vijay Singh, who heads the foreign studio, says,

“We are hugely excited about Dum Maaro Dum as it has a great script. The February timing is perfect as it is strategically timed just before the cricket season starts. The window of late January and early February works for us also as we are familiar with the release environment during that period.”

DMD is a stylish thriller that has Abhishek, Bipasha Basu, Rana Daggubatti, Prateik Babbar and Aditya Panscholi. The film races through the bylanes, beach shacks and raves of Goa to provide that edge-of-the-seat excitement.
