A gift to Indian cinema on its 100th Birthday.

Indian cinema will soon complete its 100 years and in honour of the same, a museum is being built in Mumbai which will be ready for visitors in a year and is expected to be the city’s biggest tourist attraction.

On the occasion of 1oo years of Indian cinema, the film division of India under the aegis of the ministry of Information and Broadcasting is planning to build a museum “National museum if Indian cinema” to showcase the evolution of Indian cinema on 3rd of May 2013.

Apart from various biographies NMIC will also showcase artifacts, classic cameras, projectors, costumes, photographs etc.

NMIC will be constructed within the premises of Film Division on Peddar Road, Mumbai. The whole Bollywood family and Bollywood fans are eagerly waiting for the museum to open.
